The newsroom material

The headlines and summaries shown here are published by the newsrooms and wire services that own them, and they remain that outlet's property. ForecastGeo displays them alongside its own story, comparison, and analysis. It reposts them for the purpose of commentary and analysis.

Experimental forecasts

The What might happen next? scenarios on story pages are written by an AI language model based only on the headline and summary. They are not predictions, not reporting, and not evidence. They are labelled as AI-generated and are scored against later coverage on the public ledger. Do not rely on them for a decision.

The Framing and other AI-written descriptions are labelled where they appear and every reference is checked against the source text. They add analysis; they do not invent facts, and a model statement is not a fact.

Your use of the API

The public API is provided as-is, free, without an API key, for small and personal use. Forecast may rate-limit or change it at any time without notice. Don't rebuild the full article text or the scrape the site. Automated scraping that strains the server is not permitted.
